Little castle of the fifteenth century on the hills of Como’s Lake – at a few kilometers from Bellagio - with an area of 350 square meters approximately, distributed over 3 floors, with an adjoining 5-storey little tower. The property is surrounded by houses all around. It is accessible by car, but only for residents because it is located in the historic center of the small town which is, today, almost still medieval. However, there is a large parking area just 50 meters away on foot. The structure is made of stones, with vaulted ceilings. It is certainly fascinating, but having been uninhabited for many years it needs a complete restoration. The property - with documented historical peculiarities - is registered among the Medieval Castles of the Lombardy Region, but is not subject to the constraints of the "Superintendency of Fine Arts", so it can be restored without particular constraints. The possible realization of the restoration is strongly encouraged by the Municipality, the Province and the Region which would like to redevelop it with the help of more or less subsidized and non-repayable contributions. Besides the construction of a large villa or of a mansion with several residential units, there would also be the concrete possibility of a transformation into an accommodation facility (Bed & Breakfast) with a preliminary project already completed.
